Short Bio: A member of a group of Pokemon who set out on a journey to slay an evil god named Helix. During that journey he became good friends with his comrades. But when it came time for the final battle with the god and his minions he got scared and stayed behind wile his friends fought the god... They succeeded, but at a horrible price. All of his friends had been horribly wounded, all of them except for 1 Feraligator who had manged to stay conscious long enough to drag his comrades out of the lair of the evil god before fainting from exhaustion and blood loss. Alarmed he called for help and had his friends rushed to a hospital. They were rushed into intensive care & he waited until a nurse came and told him that wile they had been able to stabilize them. That for most of them of them ever being able to make a full recovery was unlikely. Racked with gilt for not having fought alongside his friends for possibly being able to prevent them from getting as badly injured as they had been. He blindly ran unable to accept the truth of the situation. To look for a way to help his friends. He eventually ended up in a city named Oren Sanctuary. It was there that he ran into a strange Sentret. A Sentret who after a long conversation the Sentret told Ace that the best chance he had to accomplish his goal was to go and join 1 of the city's gilds telling him that if he did so he might find a way to accomplish his goal...

Walking into the building Ace was nervous, he wasn’t really sure why he was here. A mon he had met, a Sentret insisted that he join 1 of the gilds after he ran into him. Come to think about it it was odd how he had just run into the Pokemon like-

"Why hello, young adventurer!” A Togekiss said interrupting his thoughts

“Oh, ua... hi” he responded, all thoughts about the strange Sentret forgotten.

“It's so great to see you! come in come in! take a seat anywhere, it's just a big nest in here! watch out for eggshells, though! they might hurt your feet. oh ho ho! i clean here every day, but it just seems like so many eggs hatch each day! oh, my name is Julie. i see the look in your eyes! they’re so full of wonder! you must be new here. would you mind telling me your name?"

“Um... A My name is Ace.”

"My, they're wonderful names they are! you still seem a bit confused. Tell me, are you from here, or somewhere long ago?"

“I’m from... I’m sorry but I really don’t want to talk about it...”

After a bit of an awkward pause Julie said "Do you come from a country named Tao?"

“Tao? What's a Tao?”

"Oh, never mind! You're brand new here! Rookie! Like little babies freshly hatched from eggs! Oh no, it's not an insult, dears! It means you have so much potential! So, while your here, pick out the accessories you like!"

“Um... no thanks... I don't deserve any.”

"Um... Well it that case let's get down to business! We have three guilds you can choose from. The three guilds are Heros, Agents, and Scoundrels."

Ace unsure of what she meant didn’t resound

"Oh let me explain Heroes are your basic front line, go get'em Pokemon, who help people and hardly ask for anything in return.

Agents are those who would rather sit back and plan things up, finding ways to make checkmates and draws, without using much violence. They're also the ones that would simply do tasks and missions for money!

And then Scoundrels are those who are the people who might not be as good, but they fight for the helpless, and defeat all those really mean bad guys! They're also ones that would have more of a bad path, and joining scoundrels would be like a fresh start."

“I... I guess maybe the Heros Gild?” Ace resounded

"Oh! You chose the Heros gild? Then you'll be joining my guild! You must be a very selfless poke.”

Hearing this, Ace visibly winced from the complement

“Oh, I'm sorry did I say something wrong?” asked looking concurred

“I... I'm not selfless, I'm just a cowered, in fact I'm not really even sure why I even came here.”

“Um, well, regardless it's obvious that I've made you uncomfortable, so for that I apologize. If you ever want to talk about it-”

“I don't” the Raticate interrupted

“Well regardless our are now part of my little flock, herd, or gathering of children! i don't know what to call it! i just call you guys my children, because you're all so important to me, just like my own flesh and blood! So if you ever do want to share what your thinking with anyone feel free to share it with me, if you want to of course."

Ace didn’t resound

"Oh, but I’ve gotten off track haven’t I? I’m sorry. So now that we've got that figured out, would you mind telling me what your moves are, what your ability is, species, group name, all that stuff! You just the standard formality things"

“I’m a Raticate, my moves are Quick Attack, Scary Face, Hyper Fang, & Pursuit, and my ability, um... I think it's Guts, though I've never really used it so I'm not 100% sure...” Ace responded

“alright.... so, one last thing... you must swear to an oath!”

“An oath?” Ace asked unsure of what she meant

“Yes, it's quite simple really just put one paw, on your chest, then repeat after me! 'I swear, on the words of our leaders, and the laws of our country, and on the kindness and truthfulness in my heart, to serve as a saviour of the broken, defenders of the weak, defeaters of the evil, and do my best to preserve all that is good and innocent in our land.'"

“I swear... I swear to...” Ace sputtered.

But then after a brief pause he took a deep breath and said “I swear on my very soul and existence in this world and any other that may exist to protect the week, fend off evil, to never again let fear control me, to never again run from danger, to never gain allow any evil force, not even gods to run amuck or slaughter the innocent, and above all else to find a way to save my friends even if it costs me my life and soul!”

"Oh my... um... that was a bit... intense.” The Togekiss said obviously surprised at the sudden conviction in witch he had made that oath.

He couldn't blame her he was surprised himself. Were had that come from. He became so lost in his own thoughts that he barely registered the Julie saying.

"Well anyways we're all done! You are now an official member of the Heros gild! May Arceus Bless you on your journey, and have a wonderful day! oh, and if you ever have any more members, come back, so we can register them as well!"

And with that he got and left without a word. He wasn’t sure what had just happened back there except for 1 thing. He meant every single word of what he had said and he WAS going to follow thew with it.
